An evacuation standby notice has been issued for:

A standby notice means that you have been placed on alert that you may be issued an evacuation order.
What to do while on standby:
- Monitor local news for updates.
- Gather items required for evacuation [Link to Grab and Go list]
- Check on your neighbors.
- Review alternate routes for evacuation.
- Review your family evacuation plan, important phone numbers, meeting locations.
- Prepare pet supplies and carriers, leashes, etc.
- Alert the appropriate people (care givers, local police) if you will require assistance to evacuate.
- Make plans for shelter once evacuated – contact friends and family or research evacuation shelters
- Prepare to leave a note telling others when you left and where you are going.
- Review procedures for turning off electricity, gas and water, if you are instructed to do so.
- Dress in clothing that provides protection such as long pants, long-sleeved shirts, and sturdy shoes.
- Clear the yard of anything that’s not secured.
